Aldrich Street

The heartbeat of Mueller, Aldrich Street is an entertainment and lifestyle district that features a mix of primarily local dining, wellness and entertainment options along the ground floor with class-A office space, apartments, condos and hotel rooms above. With high-quality building and landscape design, abundant garage and street parking and bookended by two incredible parks, Aldrich Street comfortably accommodates pedestrians, cyclists and drivers as destination for everyone, especially families with the Thinkery children’s museum, children-centric movies at Alamo Drafthouse, a European-designed playscape, an interactive water feature and a Sunday farmers’ market.

Market District

At 51st Street and Berkman Dr., the Mueller Market District is a community serving retail center with small shops, eateries and H-E-B’s greenest store. Home to popular local establishments such as Torchy’s Tacos, Juiceland, Twin Liquors, University Federal Credit Union and Xian Noodles & Sushi, the District also features convenient service-oriented businesses such as Starbuck’s and a UPS Store, plus hair, nail, eyecare, chiropractic businesses. The District accommodates both electric vehicle drivers with charging stations and traditional vehicle drivers with an H-E-B gas station. The Market District is leased and operated by Barshop & Oles.

Regional Retail

Mueller’s first retail destination includes approximately 400,000 square feet of retail shops fronting on I-35 at 51st St. to serve both Mueller, Central and East Austin. With approximately 40 businesses open, the retail center is a destination to grab a latté, burrito, kebab, sandwich or smoothie, plus conduct banking or shop at major anchors, such as The Home Depot, Best Buy, Old Navy, Staples, Total Wine, Bed Bath & Beyond and Marshalls. The Regional Retail District is owned and operated by Weingarten Realty.

Other

Beyond its three main retail centers, Mueller features a variety and convenient retail options, including a collection of 14 shop homes that feature two-stories of residential above ground-floor business spaces along Robert Browning St., just east of Aldrich St. Additionally, many of Mueller’s apartment buildings provide ground-floor retail spaces. Employees lucky enough to work at Mueller can also enjoy all of Mueller’s parks, shops and restaurants, plus have access to ample parking and mass transit. Upon completion, Mueller will have approximately 4.5 million square feet of office, institutional and civic space.
